$ \cos\theta=\dfrac{e^{i\theta}+e^{-i\theta}}{2} $ et $ \sin\theta=\dfrac{e^{i\theta}-e^{-i\theta}}{2i} $- Étape 2 : Développer en utilisant la formule du binôme de Newton.
$ e^{ik\theta}+e^{-ik\theta}=2\cos\left(k\theta\right) $ et $ e^{ik\theta}-e^{-ik\theta}=2i\sin\left(k\theta\right) $
$ \cos^{2}\theta=\left(\dfrac{e^{i\theta}+e^{-i\theta}}{2}\right)^{2} $
Étape 2 : On développe avec l'identité remarquable $ \left(a+b\right)^{2}=a^{2}+2ab+b^{2} $ :
$ \cos^{2}\theta=\dfrac{1}{4}\left(e^{2i\theta}+2\,e^{i\theta}e^{-i\theta}+e^{-2i\theta}\right)=\dfrac{1}{4}\left(e^{2i\theta}+2+e^{-2i\theta}\right) $
(car $ e^{i\theta}e^{-i\theta}=e^{0}=1 $).
Étape 3 : On regroupe la paire conjuguée :
$ \cos^{2}\theta=\dfrac{1}{4}\left(\color{red}{e^{2i\theta}+e^{-2i\theta}}\color{black}+2\right) $
Étape 4 : On reconnaît $ e^{2i\theta}+e^{-2i\theta}=2\cos\left(2\theta\right) $ :
Linéariser $ \sin^{3}\theta $
Étape 1 : On applique la formule d'Euler pour $ \sin\theta $ :
$ \sin^{3}\theta=\left(\dfrac{e^{i\theta}-e^{-i\theta}}{2i}\right)^{3}=\dfrac{1}{\left(2i\right)^{3}}\left(e^{i\theta}-e^{-i\theta}\right)^{3}=\dfrac{1}{-8i}\left(e^{i\theta}-e^{-i\theta}\right)^{3} $
Étape 2 : On développe avec la formule du binôme $ \left(a-b\right)^{3}=a^{3}-3a^{2}b+3ab^{2}-b^{3} $ :
$ \left(e^{i\theta}-e^{-i\theta}\right)^{3}=e^{3i\theta}-3\,e^{2i\theta}e^{-i\theta}+3\,e^{i\theta}e^{-2i\theta}-e^{-3i\theta} $
$ =e^{3i\theta}-3\,e^{i\theta}+3\,e^{-i\theta}-e^{-3i\theta} $
Étape 3 : On regroupe les paires conjuguées :
$ =\left(e^{3i\theta}-e^{-3i\theta}\right)-3\left(e^{i\theta}-e^{-i\theta}\right) $
Étape 4 : On reconnaît $ e^{ik\theta}-e^{-ik\theta}=2i\sin\left(k\theta\right) $ :
$ =2i\sin\left(3\theta\right)-3\times 2i\sin\theta=2i\left(\sin\left(3\theta\right)-3\sin\theta\right) $
D'où finalement :
$ \sin^{3}\theta=\dfrac{2i\left(\sin\left(3\theta\right)-3\sin\theta\right)}{-8i}=\dfrac{\sin\left(3\theta\right)-3\sin\theta}{-4} $
Remarque
Attention
- Bien utiliser la bonne formule d'Euler : $ \cos $ a un $ + $ et un dénominateur $ 2 $ ; $ \sin $ a un $ - $ et un dénominateur $ 2i $ (le $ i $ est crucial).
- Pour calculer $ \left(2i\right)^{n} $ : $ \left(2i\right)^{2}=-4 $, $ \left(2i\right)^{3}=-8i $, $ \left(2i\right)^{4}=16 $, $ \left(2i\right)^{5}=32i $...
